I have been planning to apply for a PhD program in a ---------------------- during my studies. I think that advanced training in this program and this prestigious university would allow me to become a specialist in the field of Economics with a focus on the following areas: project management, quality management, innovation, industrial Organization, and Patents. During my master studies, I prepare a master's thesis about ---------------------- where I go through its application in different countries and areas. I also study the relation between ----------------------------. The aim is to highlight the importance of the total quality program and compare it to other methods like lean six sigma and Kaizen. These methods are widely used in companies worldwide. Each firm has its receipt for implementing a similar method. They could implement different tools offered by these methods. I choose this topic because I want to stay close to what is happening in the business world. I want to do case studies on companies from different sectors and run interviews to understand the perception of managers to these methods.
I believe that the combination of my academic and professional experiences will provide me with the organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills that will enable me to take part in this program.
This knowledge will be useful for my studies at the European University Institute. Now, I want to get advanced skills related to research methodology, and econometrics that will help me to run research and drive results useful for both academic and professional levels.
