Please find enclosed my CV in application for the Doctoral candidate in Business Studies with a specialization in Financial Reporting or Financial Auditing appeared on the website of the Faculty of Law, Economics and finance.

I found that the nature of my degree course has prepared me for this position. I’m very interested in topics related to financial reporting and financial auditing. These topics are the main subject of my master thesis and the papers that I have published in scientific journals. Certainly, this is the beginning and a start in the academic and research world. I have worked hard during my studies, and I have participated in international events in order to be more open to what happens in the world and what are the main steps to be undertaken in order to fill the research gap and what are the latest advancement achieved in the field of Financial Reporting or Financial Auditing. I suppose that being bilingual (English and French) could be an advantage for such a position. Being fluent in French and English facilitates my integration into an international environment. I believe I could fit easily into your team. Moreover, I find myself well familiarized with academic English in the field of finance and accounting. Now I’m working on a paper related to ______________________. I’m studying the relationship between earnings quality and audit committee characteristics in a French context. My work concentrates on demographic attributes of audit committees such as age, gender, and nationality. I gathered data manually from annual reports.

I think that the experience I get in research will be very useful as a doctoral candidate in such a field.
